Conventionally, agriculture is considered as a primary source of livelihood with focus on fulfilling the basic requirements of food, feed, clothing and shelter. Since many years, agricultural activities are concentrated within rural limits. Time has come to harness the potentialities of urban resources to take up agriculture related activities.
