Documenting the existing regulatory framework which covers quality assurance (QA) systems in distance education (DE) in a number of Asian countries, this text draws on the knowledge and experience of 16 selected Asian DE/e-learning institutions, revealing the respective development of QA systems and procedures within these programmes.
