Shresthova (Media Activism and Participatory Politics Project, U. of Southern California), a dancer and media artist, examines Bollywood dance in three locations: Mumbai, India; Kathmandu, Nepal; and L's Angeles, California. She conducted research from 2001 to 2009 on the interpretation, creation, production, and meanings of Bollywood dances at dance schools in these locations, as well as live performance and films.
