The field of neurosciences is rapidly developing. Given the volume of scientific literature being continually generated, it is almost impossible for the practicing clinician to stay abreast of all developments. It is, however, necessary to be informed of advances and current clinical practices to be able to deliver the best possible care to our patients. Continuing medical education courses help bridge this gap and are necessary for professional advancement.
