This is, of course, a vast simplification of this innovative and subtle technique, but Whitmore provides a thorough introduction to this school of therapy by detailing the psychosynthesis approach, the nature and work of the counselor, basic techniques, the initial through final phases of counseling, and the approaches toward its transpersonal dimension.
