The purpose of this report is to analyze developments in bio-aromatics production such as BTX and PX, which is of particular interest for bio-based PET bottle production. The purpose of this study is to assess the technical, commercial, and economic aspects of producing bio-aromatics such as BTX and PX, and their relative costs by region against conventional aromatics.
