This Standards Publication was developed to cover specific requirements for finished cables with controlled impedance shielded twisted pair(s). This standard uniquely enables a user to specify various numbers of shielded pairs (161) with a required impedance requirement, and tailor the materials to meet a specific end application. The cables are intended for wiring of electrical equipment.
