This white paper mainly pertains to the primary image display devices and primary image display systems of medical x-ray equipment intended to perform interventional procedures and declared by the manufacturer to be suitable for fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures*, hereafter referred to as image displays for interventional x-ray equipment. Primary image displays are those used by the operator during image guided interventional procedures. In addition, secondary displays are also considered.
