The purpose of the present leaflet is to: establish principles governing the provision of rail transport services by a railway undertaking to its customers, who either consolidate it into their own international combined transport product, or who use the service themselves. The leaflet does not cover any of the following ancillary services which may also be offered: supply of wagons and ITUs, organisation of handling in yards and of terminal run sections; define a cooperative framework in line with the needs of international combined transport partners to develop their product range and effectively compete with other transport modes.
