The provisions of this leaflet apply to the current electric traction arrangements for joint stations and joint sections on which locomotives and power cars of different railways may be called upon to run. The provisions relating to nominal voltages and nominal frequencies and their tolerance range (point 3.1), however, are applicable over the whole of the railway system.
