This report is a summary of experimental arid analytical investigations into the behavior of connections both with and without stiffeners.The first stage of this work comprised an investigation into two-way beam-to-column connections, first by detailed tests copying practical conditions and later by simpler tests simulating these conditions.The second stage comprised an investigation into four-way beam-to-column connections, again by detailed tests copying practical conditions.
